Therapist Position-Part-time to Full-time (W2)

Caring Mind Counseling is seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist to join our growing team. This position will start part-time and transition to full-time with benefits as the caseload builds.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: $28–$35, depending on experience and specialized training (e.g., EMDR, Brainspotting).

Start Date & Interviews:

  • Interviews begin: July-August

  • Expected start: Early September-November, depending on insurance credentialing.

Clinical Focus:

  • The primary focus will be on young adults, especially college students, as this is a high-need area within our practice.

  • We are particularly seeking clinicians with trauma-focused specialties beyond CBT-based approaches.

Position Details:

  • This is a W2 employee position

  • Part-time hours initially, transitioning to full-time as caseload grows

  • Flexible scheduling available

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients.

  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.

  • Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.

  • Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress.

  • Involve and advise family members when appropriate.

  • Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.

  • Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress.

  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality.

  • Contribute to the practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed including light cleaning duties.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field

  • Current with all state licensing requirements, including LCMHC, LCSW and LMFT, psychologist (restricted/associate license are acceptable)

  • No reprimands on your licensure
